How to Order Prints
Prints are individually produced using archival inks for long life. It is recommended that, like
any work of art, prints be framed under glass and kept out of direct sunlight. Prints
are made on acid-free archival papers, and every print is signed by the artist.

Commissioning a Portrait
Your portrait is digitally hand-painted from photographs you provide. If the photo was shot by professional photographer, a release will be required. No exceptions.

Portraits are available in sizes up to approximately 24 x 36 inches, though most people favor sizes ranging from 11x14 to 18 x 24. Anything larger becomes unwieldy to ship and expensive to frame. Your portrait package will include, at no extra charge, either two 8x10 images or four 4x5 prints, all using the same printing methods and quality as the full-size portrait. Additional prints of various sizes are available as affordable options. See below for sizes and prices.
As the work approaches completion, I'll e-mail you a JPEG version. Note that an image on your computer screen is subject to many variables. Color and value may be slightly different in the finished print. If you have any suggestions, simply e-mail them to me and I will take them into account as I finish the artwork.
Please allow two to three weeks for the finished work to arrive. Framing is available at an additional charge. That work is done by a professional framer. A digital file copy of your work will be retained here, should you desire revisions or additional, original prints at a later time. But except as discussed below, the file and all information derived from you will be held in the strictest confidence. Put simply: I do not sell, rent, give away or otherwise share your information with anyone not involved in the work. I may, with your permission, use the photo only to advertise my work, provide examples, or contribute to other artistic efforts.
Your portrait is an original work of art, delivered to you on archival materials that may reasonably be expected to last for generations, if treated properly. The artist reserves the right to exhibit the work for educational or promotional purposes, but will not reproduce the work for sale to anyone but the purchaser and his or her assigns. And I will never give, sell, rent or otherwise forward any of your information, personal, aggregate or otherwise. Period.
Portrait fee is $295, which covers the creation of your portrait and a print of 11x14 or 12x16, on your choice of smi-glossy photographic paper, artist’s matte paper or canvas (all sizes are approximate and based upon the proportion of your photo). Prepayment is required, Paypal being the preferred method of payment. All prints are individually pulled using archival, high color photographic inks and long-life substrates (fine art paper or canvas) conservatively rated in excess of 80 years.
