WARPED WOMEN ARE ON THE PROWL They're warped, wild and wonderful caricatures of the zany loonies that decorate our daily lives... Here's a poetic sampling of one these way-out dames, Angie, the Angel.
AnGie, ThE AnGeL
Angie's no fool, but she flunked Angel School
So they gave her a big second chance.
She said with a sigh, "I'll try, do or die,
And I'll fly by the seat of my pants."
She donned sneakers (no heels), on her wings, trainer wheels,
And she spiraled to Earth in a spin.
She landed KERPLOP with some others atop
The head of a dressmaker's pin.
You see, angels are small; they're hardly at all,
But they do as big as the sky
Except when they're green and new on the scene
In which case, good deeds go awry.
Well, Angie is one who is hell-bent on fun
And can not resist a temptation.
She gets a big kick out of playing a trick
On God's unsuspecting Creation.
When your car doesn't start, or your pie is too tart,
Or the IRS gives you a fright,
It's Angie's handwork, she lurks, she smirks,
"Cause her left hand don't know from her right."
Most of her's good; she does what she should,
While the rest of her goes on a spree.
It's not she's misguided, just a little near-sighted
She sees what she wants to see.
When her spirit is lifted, her halo is shifted;
Pray Gabriel takes her aside
And gets her good soul more under control,
Or we're in for a long, bumpy ride!

ARTFUL STABILITY
Sulky of America has three new black stabilizers - Tear Easy, Soft N Sheer, and Totally Stable.
Now we can stabilize our dark fabrics without the stabilizer showing through to the right side
of our needleart.
SPARKLE, BUT NOT TOO GLITZY!
To easily give your pin-woven piece a little more sparkle, embellish some of your fabric strips
with Sulky's Sliver thread before pin-weaving. Be sure to use a stabilizer (maybe Tear Easy)
and stitch some of the wonderful built-in decorative stitches on your sewing machine, even if
it is just a wide zigzag. Also, remember to gently tear away your stabilizer before you pin-weave.
THREAD BREAK ON YOUR EMBROIDERY MACHINE?
Having a problem with Sliver (not silver) thread breaking on your embroidery machine?
Be sure to use Metallica(TM) needles and thread the top of your embroidery machine with your
brilliantly lustered Sliver thread and Sulky's invisible thread together. Hold both threads
together in one hand and thread top of machine and through the eye of the Metallica needle. Waalaa!
Tip: Be sure the thread comes off the side of the Sliver(TM) thread spool and NOT
the capped ends. Sliver(TM) can be used with a horizontal or vertical spool pin,
as long as the thread comes off the thread side of the spool.
SERGER NEEDLING FUN
If your serger needle system is 130/705H (15X1), the Schmetz(TM) machine embroidery needles and Metallica(TM) needles can be used on your serger for delicate threads used in your needles.
